Description We are looking for a skilled Sr IT Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will manage and optimize IT systems, ensuring their security, reliability, and performance. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments while providing top-tier support. Responsibilities: Oversee and monitor daily IT operations, including networks, servers, storage, and applications. Ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards and regulations. Manage both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure to maintain optimal performance. Provide technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues. Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures, responding to security alerts and incidents. Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment, software, and licenses. Coordinate the installation, configuration, and upgrades of PC hardware and software. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup and deactivation. Write and update training materials and IT documentation to support end users. Collaborate with vendors to manage IT products, services, and contracts effectively. Requirements Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows Server, and Windows 10. Familiarity with Dell and Citrix technologies. Strong understanding of cloud services such as Azure and AWS. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, compliance frameworks, and data protection regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
