Manager of Finance and Accounting

We’re seeking a Manager of Finance and Accounting to lead a dynamic in-office team in Avon, Indiana . This is a key position responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing a small team, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

💡 What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of three accounting professionals

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning

• Manage year-end close, audits, and tax preparation in partnership with external firms

• Drive process improvements and streamline financial workflows

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)

• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel

• A hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
