Vice President, Manufacturing Operations

Location: South San Francisco, CA (Hybrid preferred)

About the Role

A clinical-stage biotech company is preparing for its first commercial product launch and is looking for a senior leader to oversee manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role is key to ensuring the company is ready to deliver its lead biologic therapy to patients in the U.S. and Europe.

What You'll Do

• Lead manufacturing and supply chain strategy for commercial launch
• Manage external manufacturing partners and long-term supply agreements
• Oversee planning, logistics, and technology transfers
• Work closely with internal teams across regulatory, quality, and product development
• Build and manage a small, high-performing team

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years in biopharma manufacturing, especially biologics
• Experience launching products in the U.S. and Europe
• Strong background in CMC, supply chain, and regulatory processes
• Skilled in managing CDMOs and supplier relationships
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company
• Advanced degree in life sciences or engineering preferred

Compensation

• Base salary: $300K-$340K
• Equity, RSUs and annual refreshers
• Full benefits package
