Immediate opening for a Dedicated Solo Class B Part Time CDL Truck Driver and want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Chester, NY

You might be wondering what your paycheck will look like. 

$850 avg per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $28.50 Per Hour
• Loyalty Bonus $2,000 after 6 months and $2,000 after 12 months
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night with occasional 1 night per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Hours Per Week: up to 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Varies Monday - Friday
• Start Time: 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM  
• Hours: 8 - 10 hrs a day
• Paid Training
• MUST HAVE DELIVERY DRIVING EXPERIENCE

• Route: Local Home Daily Occasional Night Out 
• Tractor Type: Straight Truck
• Trailer Type: 24' & 26' Straight Truck
• Equipment: Hand Truck & Lift Gate
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Delivery Experience Required 
• Freight: Heavy Touch – Pet Food

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
