Shift: 07:00 - 19:00
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days (7 AM - 7 PM), every other weekend (EOW) and holiday (EOH)
Location: Varies based on assignment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of recent travel experience and remote telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, including general medical administration, postoperative care, and remote telemonitoring under the supervision of a monitor tech.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a general Med Surg and Post-Operative Surgical setting.
• Monitor patients remotely using telehealth technology while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications, including IV drips, and manage medication administration protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided in adherence to facility policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring a patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of 1:7 maximum.
• Float to Medical-Surgical Telemetry units as needed and maintain flexibility in assignments.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent travel nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience is a must.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to accept blocked scheduling limitations.
• Requests for guaranteed hours must be specified in the body of the application.
