Job Description

A skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is sought for a contract position within a K-12 educational setting in Kent, WA. This role offers the opportunity to support speech and language services for students throughout the school year, contributing to their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver speech and language intervention to students under supervision.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of sessions and student progress.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals.
• Prepare materials and set up therapy environments tailored to student needs.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA certification applicable to school or healthcare settings.

• Strong understanding of speech-language development and disorders.

• Background in K-12 settings is an advantage.
