About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Louisiana for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity involves working closely with students to address communication challenges, enhance their skills, and support their educational success. You'll collaborate with a supportive team of educators and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in a rewarding school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Implement therapy plans and strategies tailored to individual student needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and session notes.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials to ensure effective sessions.
• Engage with teachers and parents to create a cohesive support network for students.

Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain one.
• Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
• Previous experience in a school setting or with children is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
