Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Senior Human Systems Integration (HSI) Engineer to play a critical role in optimizing human performance and total system efficiency. In this role, you’ll provide expert analysis, design, and assessment across key areas, including human factors engineering, manpower, training, safety, occupational health, and survivability.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure human performance is optimized to enhance overall system effectiveness while reducing lifecycle costs.
• Take a total system approach —integrating people, technology, training, and operational support to maximize human-machine performance.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, acquisition professionals, and logistics experts to achieve program objectives.
• Analyze and review system designs, human factors, and training requirements to drive mission success.
• Perform quantitative analyses to assess and improve system efficiency and usability.

Here's what you need:

• 10+ years of experience in Human Systems Integration (HSI), R&D, T&E, or systems acquisition programs.
• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program OR a BS in physical science, engineering, or mathematics with 24+ semester hours in physical science or engineering-related subjects.
• Proven ability to analyze designs, conduct assessments, and optimize human-system interactions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Interim or Active Top Secret clearance (required).

Bonus points if you have:

• 15+ years of relevant HSI experience, particularly within Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
• A Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Exceptional technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Security Clearance:

Minimum: Interim or Active Top Secret security clearance.

Education:

BS Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculum OR BS Degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/ or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.
