DEL-AIR Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, Inc. is a growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Tampa, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), and Sarasota Primary Responsibilities: This role primarily oversees the training and quality of work performed by service technicians on residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment. Will also be expected to resolve most problems with customers exercising discretionary judgment and analysis. Specific Duties & Tasks: Coordinates activities of service technicians and apprentices so that operational efficiency, productivity, and economy are realized for labor, materials, and equipment. Maintain the operational effectiveness and profitability of the Service department within their location with the assistance of the Branch Manager. Grow and develop the service team both in number and skill, with the assistance of the Branch Manager. Develop the technical and communication abilities of the service team with and without the assistance of the Branch Manager. Ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and prescribe repair procedures Available to work as on-call supervisor upon a rotation. Available to assist service technicians upon after-hours begins. Perform periodic evaluations of staff by visiting job sites Resolve complaints and grievance within the workforce Perform standard truck inventory and safety inspections Provide technical assistance to mechanics when requested Qualifications: Have a minimum of 5 years of HVAC field experience. Computer literate with adequate knowledge in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of basic office equipment. Be experienced with low & high voltage wiring Prior experience in managing employees, preferred. Always obtain a valid driver’s license and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle. Must have EPA Certification Eligible to legally work in the United States. Be at least 18 years of age. Ability to speak Spanish preferred. Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
