Job Description

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and driven SEO Manager to join our crypto and fiat Gambling team. This exciting role will involve overseeing SEO strategies and daily operations for our “Tier 1” domains, CCN.com and Webopedia, focusing on both strategy and execution.

Reporting to the Gambling Vertical Lead, you will develop and implement a 6 to 12-month strategy for each domain. This strategy will align with broader company goals and consider each domain’s performance, authority, and positioning.
In this role, you will collaborate with various business stakeholders to promote and gain support for your strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop insightful, strategic goals for gambling content on both websites, including keyword targeting, offsite strategies, and identifying necessary features.
• Serve as the primary contact for the editorial team on content and on-page SEO best practices.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of web pages, including ongoing optimization of content, meta descriptions, and other related elements.
• Manage and update the sitemaps for pages related to crypto and fiat gambling, including pruning, updating, and replacing content as needed.
• Monitor and report on the health of the websites, including visibility, technical performance, and offsite issues, as well as progress against strategic goals.
• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and changes, summarizing their potential impact on our websites and strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing and executing an SEO strategy for a domain, covering content, on-page, offsite, and technical aspects.
• Experience creating and delivering 6 to 12-month work roadmaps in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Preferably experienced in the iGaming industry, particularly with iGaming affiliates.
• Experience managing domains targeting multiple markets, including familiarity with HREFLang and internationalization strategies.

Skills:

• Proficient in rank tracking and dashboarding tools such as Accuranker, SEO Monitor, SERanking, Sistrix, and SEO Clarity.
• Skilled in industry research tools like SEMRush, AHrefs, Authoritas, Sistrix, and Majestic.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Looker.
• Capable of analyzing data to derive insights and translate them into actionable tasks and goals.
• Experience with website crawling and identifying issues and errors for resolution.
• Familiarity with XPath and/or Regular Expressions is a plus.
• Strong understanding of search engine mechanics, including core algorithm updates, indexing, and key tactics for enhancing SEO visibility.
