Job Description

Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a Quality Control Taste and SensoryTester to join their team. As a Quality Control Taste & Sensory Tester, you will be part of the sensory evaluation team supporting product development and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for food, and a team-oriented attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Taste Tester - Part Time
Approx. 1.5 - 2 hours per week every Wed. 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
With Flexibility for additional panels as needed

Location: Plymouth, WI
Pay:  $15.00 hr

What's the Job?

• Discuss the appearance, flavor, and textural characteristics of various foods in a collaborative team environment.
• Learn and apply both common and analytical terms used to describe different food products.
• Familiarize yourself with various food ingredients and their sensory attributes.
• Taste and evaluate a variety of food ingredients, including dairy products, herbs, spices, vegetables, meats, and carbohydrates.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding the products being evaluated while participating in group discussions.

What's Needed?

• Availability on Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility for additional panels.
• Must be 18 years or older and free from food allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in group discussions of 10 to 15 people.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have dependable transportation.
