Position Summary

As a Preschool Teacher at our Early Education Center, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing our educational philosophy and instructional goals
• Providing effective teaching techniques for all students
• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children
• Maintaining compliance with EEC policies and Colorado regulations
• Encouraging positive classroom behavior
• Planning engaging programs tailored to students' needs
• Supervising and evaluating teacher assistants
• Documenting assessments and observations for each child
• Maintaining effective communication with parents and staff
• Attending staff meetings as required

Wage

The hourly pay range for this position is $23 - $26 , depending on experience, education, and other factors. This is just one part of our comprehensive compensation package!

Education & Experience Requirements

To qualify as an Early Childhood Teacher, you must be at least 18 years old and meet one of the following qualifications:

• Degree in Child Development, Child Psychology, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Family Studies, or related fields
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree with additional Early Childhood Education courses
• Current professional teaching license or Early Childhood Professional Credential
• Experience in childcare settings

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements

As part of our team, you will need to obtain:

• First Aid Certification
• Infant/Child CPR Certification
• Emergency contact information
• Physical examination
• Background checks as required

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds
• Ability to work in various positions including sitting, bending, and standing
• Routine cleaning and sanitizing tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
