Hindman, one of the nation's leading fine art auction houses, is seeking a freelance **Photographer** in our Denver office. This role is responsible for photographing all items sold at auction (includes fine furniture, decorative arts, fine art, couture and luxury accessories, jewelry and other objects). Photographers create images that are used for printed and digital catalogues and all other promotional materials.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Photograph and retouch large quantity of items for upcoming auctions
* Ensure all images meet the company's standard for quality and consistency
* Work closely with the photography manager and team to prioritize tasks
**Successful candidates will possess:**
* Bachelor's degree in photography, or a minimum 2-3 years of professional photography experience
* Experience photographing products on white in a studio setting using monolights
* Professional digital SLR camera with zoom lens
* Proficiency with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CC : working knowledge of layers, masks, color correction tools, actions, batch processing
* Ability to maintain high quality while executing high volume of images under very tight deadlines
* Capability to work efficiently and independently, showing initiative and innovation
* Highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
