Peaceful Birthing Doula mission is to support Women, Men and Family on their journey to wellness. We want to insure every person understand how their body works and to prevent injury and heal through massage, movement, and herbal support. We support the Mind, Body and Soul of every person.
This includes:
· Performing quality, therapeutic Massage, Sport and Pregnancy Massage that meet clients' needs
· Provide 60-to-90-minute massages for appointment holders and walk-ins (15-minute scheduled
recovery time between each session)
· Customizing massage services that are in your scope of practice and follow Studio of Massage
and Healing LLC. protocols.
· Take detailed histories from clients, including information about any injuries or conditions, such as
diabetes, etc
· Listen to clients during massages and adjust technique & pressure to meet their needs
· Assisting in accomplishing the client experience, maintaining client confidentiality, and upholding
our commitment to safety.
· practicing ethically and maintaining optimism, confidence and compassion with consistency, and
empathy.
· Building positive and safe relationships with others in the office.
· Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions, follow ups, etc
Requirements
You must have you:
· Current and valid Illinois state license for massage therapy
· 2+ years’ experience as a professional massage therapist
· Reliable transportation required
· Excellent customer service skills
· be available for at least 15 hours per week
· Must be competent, responsible, motivated, and professional

Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
