Impact Dock Works Inc., a leader in loading dock construction and dock equipment installation, is seeking skilled construction workers to join our team. Our projects require expertise in concrete, electrical, and welding, and we are looking for individuals with experience in these trades. If you have a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt on-site, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

As a Loading Dock Construction Worker , you will be involved in all phases of loading dock construction, including concrete work, structural welding, and electrical installation. We are looking for experienced electricians, welders, or concrete specialists who are willing to learn and expand their skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Construction: Assist with the construction of loading docks, including foundation work, equipment installation, and finishing.
• Concrete Work: Layout, form setting, rebar placement, pouring, cutting, and finishing.
• Welding: Structural welding and metal fabrication for dock frames, railings, and reinforcement.
• Electrical Work: Wiring and installing dock levelers, lighting, and control systems.
• Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues on-site to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Collaboration: Work with the team to meet deadlines and ensure quality construction.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

• Experience in at least one of the following: concrete work, welding, or electrical installation.
• Ability and willingness to learn and apply new skills in construction.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to perform construction tasks, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with reading construction blueprints and diagrams is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
