Description Summary: The Lead ETL Developer provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications. Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems. Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support. Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington. May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff. May serve as project leader for specific projects. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Technical Qualifications: 5+ years of ETL development experience within a Data Warehouse environment Bachelors Degree Preferred Qualifications: Programming Languages: SQL, Python, PySpark ETL Tools : AWS Glue, IBM Datastage Database : Snowflake, MySql, Oracle, SQL Server Workflow Orchestration & Automation : Zena Cloud Technologies : AWS S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lamda, AWS EC2 Data Governance : Infogix Version Control & CI/CD : Git, Jenkins Agile Scrum: Azure Dev Ops Deep understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards. Strong experience in software engineering comprising of designing, developing and operating robust and highly-scalable cloud infrastructure services. Strong experience with Python/PySpark, DataStage ETL and SQL development. Proven experience in cloud infrastructure projects with hands on migration expertise on public clouds such as AWS and Azure, preferably Snowflake. Knowledge of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies. Understand Authentication & Authorization Services, Identity & Access Management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organization skills and the ability to work independently as well as with a team. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional Experience defining future state roadmaps for data warehouse applications. Experience leading teams of developers within a project. Experience in financial services (banking) industry.
