Job Overview:
Columbia Contracting, a trusted construction and sitework contractor based in San Antonio, is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to support our growing portfolio of commercial projects across Texas. Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings using hand and power tools
Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades
Maintain clean work areas and follow all site safety protocols
Skills & Requirements:
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and components
Proficient with hand and power tools used in plumbing work
Familiar with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues independently
Strong attention to detail and job site cleanliness
Qualifications:
Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License required
Minimum 4 years of plumbing experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus
High school diploma or GED preferred
