Job title: Human Resources Intern

Department: Employee Relations Corporate

Position Overview:

Trulieve is looking for an HR Intern that will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and rapidly growing cannabis organization. You will work closely with various members of our HR team providing support and contributing to various HR initiatives within our organization. This internship will offer you valuable exposure to the intersection of human resources and the cannabis sector, allowing you to develop essential skills and knowledge in a unique and evolving industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with HR projects and initiatives in employee relations, compliance, and talent acquisition
• Support employee relations activities
• Introduction to the function(s) of a Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and programs
• Research HR best practices to assist in the development of HR policies and procedures
• Assist with HR administrative tasks as needed

Qualification:

• Must be able to pass a level 2 background check
• Must be 21+ years of age

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available after hours if an emergency situation should arise.
