We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our growing team in Akron, OH. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about planning, organizing, and supporting the execution of successful corporate and client-facing events.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of corporate events, seminars, and networking functions
• Collaborate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to manage logistics
• Prepare materials and supplies for event setup
• Support onsite event execution and troubleshoot as needed
• Maintain accurate records of event details and budgets
• Ensure timely communication with stakeholders and participants
• Handle post-event tasks such as feedback collection and reporting

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred
• Previous experience in event planning or administrative support is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning tools
