JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop circuit and control concepts
Architect, design, implement, test and debug electrical systems and products
Analyze and design power electronics for stack management
Develop interface circuits to control brushed DC motors, BLCD motors, solenoids, valves, variable speed fans and compressors, and igniters
Use a variety of lab instrumentation, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, IDE"s, programmable DC power supplies and loads to evaluate fuel cell system performance
Design interface circuits for thermocouples, flow meters, and shock sensors
Apply industry best practices for EMC design
Supervise third-party EMC testing
Redesign PC boards and deploy countermeasures to pass EMC trials (both emission and susceptibility)
Develop hardware conforming to MIL-SPEC standards
Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven expertise as an electrical engineer (BSEE, MSEE or MSc)
Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
Experience designing and analyzing analog circuits as well as digital systems with embedded microcontrollers
Skill in interfacing with power electronics both for stack management as well as controlling electromechanical elements such as brushed DC motors, BLCD motors, solenoids, valves, and igniters
Experience working with lab instrumentation and interface development for a variety of sensors such as thermocouples, flow, and shock sensors
Skill in SMT rework and the ability to occasionally solder under a microscope
Comfortable working in a start-up environment
