Join to apply for the EDM Programmer/Set Up/Operator role at Decimal Engineering .

We are seeking a skilled CNC Wire EDM Setup Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines and possess a strong understanding of machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify raw materials, set up machines, and make adjustments to produce a first piece meeting customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that Decimal Engineerings workmanship standards are met throughout production runs.
• Verify Job Traveler and SFM documentation at the start and end of each production run.
• Oversee and ensure daily operator maintenance schedules are completed properly.
• Handle dissimilar materials properly for recycling.
• Maintain, store, and identify all fixtures.
• Verify runtimes, setup documentation, and Job Traveler accuracy to meet delivery commitments.
• Work flexible hours to ensure on-time delivery of products.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and read/write work instructions in English.
• Correctable hearing to normal and vision to 20/30 or better.
• Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as ESPRIT, Shop Floor Camworks, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of machining processes including milling, tooling, and electrical discharge machining.
