Position: Monitoring Center Agent Edgeworth Security provides 24/7 remote monitoring services and is seeking dependable, energetic people to join our team as monitoring center agents. Edgeworth agents protect our clients by deterring criminal activity from our all-hours monitoring center in Pittsburgh, PA while also providing exceptional customer service to the clients we guard. Agents must be on site in our Pittsburgh monitoring center where you will receive training to help you learn new skills and succeed in your role. This is an in-person only position, no remote positions available. This is a great opportunity for: Recent graduates with an interest in criminal justice Superior customer service representatives Security or loss prevention experts Former law enforcement or military personnel Benefits : Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 increments paid after 90 days and 6 months) $17.33 to $19.05 starting hourly wage range based on shift with a realistic annual compensation earning of up to $50,000+ . Employer-shared costs towards company medical, dental, and vision health plans. 100% employer-paid life insurance (basic life + AD&D) and disability insurance (short-term and long-term disability) offered to full-time employees in Pennsylvania. 401(k): Matching 5% following 90 days of employment offered to both full-time and part-time employees Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) for full-time employees Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: Provide monitoring and incident response services to protect client locations from intrusion, theft and other unauthorized or criminal activities Perform scheduled remote patrols of client sites Address issues and events as they arise Dispatch security personnel and law enforcement as needed Document incidents in reports for management and clients Qualifications : Computer proficiency and skillful in the use of MS Office a must Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail with critical thinking Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information Work a minimum of one weekend shift (Sat or Sun) per week Ability to multi-task Professional demeanor Self-starter capable of working individually and as a strong contributor to the team Important Considerations: Night and weekend shifts will be required Due to the nature of the work, discretion is very important We are currently hiring for all shifts Why Join Edgeworth Security?
