Delivery Driver - Green Front Furniture (Farmville, VA)

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Includes Saturdays and overtime as needed

Position Overview: We are seeking motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to join our Delivery Team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining Green Front's reputation for excellence by ensuring that every customer receives their furniture in perfect condition and enjoys a smooth, professional delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver customer orders to homes and businesses throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
• Load, transport, and unload furniture, ensuring all items are properly handled and protected during transit.
• Assemble and set up furniture in customers' homes as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of delivery trucks.
• Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous delivery or moving experience required; previous experience driving 26' box truck and experience handling and setting up large household merchandise preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, proactive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. independently and assist with loads up to 150 lbs. regularly.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Current DOT medical card preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and holidays.
