This role requires a hybrid work environment with onsite presence 3–5 days per week, depending on project needs. Responsibilities: Assess, improve, and maintain cybersecurity for NIH ICS/OT/IoT environments to mitigate risks, including insider and external threats. Audit ICS/OT environments and perform risk and vulnerability assessments. Develop NIH-specific cybersecurity roadmaps prioritizing threat remediation based on likelihood and impact. Create mitigation plans and support remediation efforts. Review and develop industrial cybersecurity programs, policies, and best practices to enhance NIH's OT cybersecurity posture. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Minimum 5 years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks for ICS/OT environments. Experience with OT network protocols (Ethernet/IP, CIP, Modbus, OPC) and industrial network topologies. Hands-on experience designing and assessing ICS/OT network architectures. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CSSA, GIAC, ISA/IEC 62443, networking, or cybersecurity certifications. Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK for ICS, NERC CIP frameworks, and general cybersecurity standards. Experience with industrial control systems and vulnerability testing.
