Job Description

Must haves:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years in a leadership role, with demonstrated ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams.
• Strong background in managing RFIs, submittals, subcontractors, and construction documentation.
• Experience leading field teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Plusses:

• Background in water infrastructure or pipeline construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Job Description

• Manage project execution from pre-construction through closeout, including equipment release, schedule and budget oversight, and change order management.
• Identify and mitigate scope gaps and potential risks early in the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor Project Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Oversee field operations, including installations, work plans, take-offs, and quality control checklists.
• Coordinate daily with subcontractors to ensure alignment on progress, safety, and issue resolution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to proactively identify and resolve construction challenges.
• Plan and manage the integration of new structures with existing infrastructure, including chemical buildings, treatment facilities, and gravity thickeners.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress summaries, checklists, and next-day planning.
