About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer to lead the execution of the informatics vision and manage the informatics workforce that supports nursing and non-physician priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing strategic initiatives such as optimization, predictive analytics, telehealth, and AI, and will collaborate with various leadership roles to develop and communicate organizational and service-line strategic plans. This role also involves ensuring documentation standardization that aligns with best practices and supports outcome metrics for nursing-sensitive indicators, as well as partnering with various stakeholders to enhance the nursing and clinical experience with health IT. Applicants for the Associate Vice President, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer position at the company should have a Master of Science in Nursing or a Master’s in Informatics, with a DNP or PhD in Nursing/Informatics preferred. RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas is required, along with ANCC Certification in Nursing Informatics. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in clinical informatics, project management, and quality improvement methods, as well as five years of relevant leadership experience and five years of clinical experience. Experience with or knowledge of Magnet designation principles is also a key qualification. The role demands a leader who can create a culture of innovation, inspire the generation of unique solutions, and encourage the exploration of new problem-solving approaches.
