Certified Nurse Midwife - Full-Time or Part-Time Location: Northern, NJ OB/GYN Private Practice is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Certified Nurse Midwife to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to provide exceptional, individualized care for our diverse patient population. We are offering both full-time and part-time positions with a shared call schedule.
About Us: Practice offers comprehensive, full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology services, including:
- Prenatal Care
- Pregnancy & Delivery
- Ultrasound Services
- PAP Smears
- Contraception
- Treatments for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
- Pelvic Pain Management
- Premenstrual Syndrome & Sexual Dysfunction Care
All deliveries are conducted at a leading hospital in Summit, NJ, ensuring a top-quality delivery experience for patients.
Position Overview: The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
- Providing comprehensive patient care throughout the prenatal, labor, and postpartum periods
- Offering routine gynecological services such as reproductive health visits and peri-/post-menopausal care
- Conducting thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history evaluations
- Educating patients on family planning and reproductive health
- Documenting patient medical records accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Performing suturing and assisting in various procedures, with an emphasis on quality patient care
- Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
Position Requirements: - Must be a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with active licensure with at least 3 years experience
- Experience in full-scope midwifery practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
