Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Senior AWS NodeJS developer - In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performing serverless backend services and APIs on the AWS platform. You will leverage AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other serverless services to build robust and reliable cloud-based solutions. The selected candidate should be able to provide design and develop solutions to client. Candidate should troubleshoot the production issues. Interact with customer process consultants and business SME to understand and analyze various processes. Derive opportunities and make recommendations from the project discussions. This position is based out of Houston, TX Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.
• Proficiency in Reacts, Node.js, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other serverless technologies.
• Lead team of Developers and collaborate with architects, software engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate serverless services with other AWS services to build end-to-end cloud-based solutions.
• Review tech deliverables of the team and guide/coach team on best practices. Implement best practices for serverless development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, debugging and root cause analysis as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Experience with AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams.
• Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus.
• Strong analytical, logical skills and team leading skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
